Eligibility Requirements for ISMAAI Fellowship

Fellowship  At ISMAAI (FISMAAI) represents the highest distinction awarded by our Institute. It honors individuals who have made groundbreaking contributions to the advancement of Artificial Intelligence, social media innovation, ethical tech development, and interdisciplinary research that addresses real-world challenges.

Becoming a Fellow at ISMAAI (FISMAAI) signifies a recognition of exceptional impact and leadership in the evolving landscape where technology meets society.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria for Fellowship

To be eligible for ISMAAI Membership / Fellowship , Applicants must demonstrate / Possess :

  • Proven Excellence: Notable achievements such as prestigious awards, research grants, patents, or game-changing innovations.

  • Leadership & Initiative: Leading academic, industry, or social projects that drive meaningful change.

  • Published Work: Contributions to peer-reviewed journals, white papers, or thought-leadership articles.

  • Conference Engagement: Speaking roles or notable presentations at national or international conferences and summits.

  • Technology Impact: Development of cutting-edge tools, platforms, or methodologies.

  • Cross-disciplinary Collaboration: Involvement in joint efforts across tech, education, health, finance, or governance sectors.

  • Mentorship & Capacity Building: Demonstrating a commitment to guiding the next generation of professionals in AI and digital innovation.

  • Public Engagement: Promoting awareness through social media, workshops, educational programs, or public policy discussions.

  • Inclusion & Equity: Actively embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion (EDI) in professional practice and team culture.

Selection Process

Fellows are selected through a thorough peer-review process led by a committee of esteemed ISMAAI Fellows. These experts bring a wealth of academic and industry experience and are recognized for their exceptional contributions to the fields of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and ethical technology.
The selection process includes:

  1. Comprehensive Review of the candidate’s achievements, body of work, and community contributions.

  2. Committee Evaluation conducted by a panel of distinguished ISMAAI Fellows.

  3. Final Approval by ISMAAI’s Board of Directors.

The Fellowship Committee comprises global experts and leaders in AI and digital fields, ensuring the highest standards in our selection process.

As stipulated in Ismaai Constitution, the selection process shall include:

i) Rigorous peer review of the candidate’s contributions and achievements;
ii) Evaluation by the Fellowship Committee, composed of distinguished Fellows;
iii) Final approval by the Board of Directors.
